SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A woman armed with a handgun robbed a bank in San Francisco’s Telegraph Hill neighborhood Monday afternoon, police said.
The armed suspect entered the bank located in the 200 block of Union Street around 12:20 p.m., according to authorities.
She proceeded to take out a handgun and demanded cash, police said.
She then jumped over the counter, entered the vault and took cash from the vault and teller drawers before fleeing on foot.
No arrest has been made in the case as of Tuesday morning, police said.Bay City News contributed to this report
