WALNUT CREEK (KRON) — An armed man robbed a 7-Eleven in Walnut Creek on Wednesday, according to police.

Officers received a report of a robbery around 11:33 p.m. to the 7-Eleven at 301 North Civic Drive, police said.

The suspect pulled a handgun during the robbery and fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to police.

There were no reported injuries during the robbery.

Police said the suspect is believed to be the same suspect responsible for recent robberies in Walnut Creek, Redwood City and San Leandro.

The suspect is described as a man, possibly Asian, 5 feet 6 inches tall, with a stocky build and wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and a black mask. He was armed with a silver handgun.
