JENNINGS, Mo. (AP) – A person who was armed and barricaded inside a home has been shot and killed by police, according to St. Louis County police.
Media Relations Officer Shawn McGuire said in a news release that the St. Louis County Police Department’s Tactical Operations Unit responded at about 10:30 p.m. Friday to a home in Jennings.
McGuire says the armed person was shot and killed by an officer, but did not give further details.
A news conference is scheduled for Saturday morning.
