SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — The Aquarium of the Bay had a very special celebration Monday, complete with frozen fish pops and ice cake with ground up clam and prawn frosting.
The party celebrated the two-year otter-versary of the Aquarium’s North American river otter gallery.

The Aquarium made the decision to open this exhibit as a way to educate guests about the importance of the health and interconnectedness of our natural resources.
Three otter-able guests were honored, Shasta, Baxter and Ryer. The three otters feasted on frozen watermelon (otter-melon) and played with a kitty-pool full of new toys.
The most fun gift the otters received? A bucket full of dirt.
