An Antioch man suspected of possessing child pornography and trying to coerce a minor into sexual activity has now been charged by a federal grand jury.
Police say 63-Year old Roger Boshers was attempting to meet and send graphic sexual images to a 14-year-old girl through social media.
Investigators learned that Boshers is already a registered sex offender, stemming from a 2007 arrest of trying to meet a minor for sex.
Police served a warrant at Boshers’ Antioch home and say he was distributing child pornography.
The case was referred to a federal grand jury, which indicted him on multiple charges.
He is charged with two counts of sending harmful material to a minor, arranging a meeting with a minor for sexual contact, and going to an arranged meeting with a minor for sexual contact.
He is currently in federal custody awaiting trial.
