SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A San Francisco Fire Department ambulance struck and injured a pedestrian in San Francisco Tuesday morning, according to police.
The accident happened around 7:55 a.m. near Howth Street and Ocean Avenue, police said.
The ambulance crew was responding to a medical emergency when the accident occurred.
The ambulance was going through the intersection when it struck a woman in her 20s walking across the street, according to authorities.
The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital with minor injuries and is now in stable condition, police said.
No one in the ambulance was hurt.
