Power has been restored to all campus buildings at Stanford University Thursday morning, officials announced.
Power had been out to several campus buildings since Wednesday afternoon.
School officials say the cause of the power outage was traced to a cable failure at a transformer serving the new Bass Biology Building, which has been under construction.
Power was restored at around 10 p.m. to a handful of campus buildings.
Today work will continue to restore power to Bass Biology.
Officials say the cause of the original outage appears to be an equipment failure.
