The California Highway Patrol has issued a Sig-Alert Sunday morning for both directions on state Highway 84 in San Mateo County west of Pescadero Creek Road for a downed pole with low hanging wires.
The incident occurred late Saturday evening around 10:11 p.m., on the north side of freeway, according to a CHP officer.
The CHP said PG&E crews are on scene and estimate the roads will reopen around 9 a.m. Drivers are encouraged to use alternative routes.
