UPDATE: All clear has been given to the school.

(KRON) Las Lomas High School in Walnut Creek has been evacuated for the second time in two weeks. A threatening note was reportedly left in a bathroom again.

This time the threat involved a gun. All of the students are on the football field and safe. School officials are encouraging parents not to come to campus.

Police are doing a sweep of the school and investigating.

Walnut Creek (KRON) Update 3:15pm  Police have given the all clear at Las Lomas High School. No bomb was found.

Dear Las Lomas Community,

We are writing to update you on the status of the evacuation.

Students remain on the field.  Water is available and the bathrooms are open.  The students are safe with their teachers and are receiving updates through the PA system.

The Walnut Creek Police Department has three dogs on the  campus and is performing a sweep.  They anticipate releasing the students in approximately 15 minutes to 7th period class.

Las Lomas High School in Walnut Creek is on lock down this afternoon. A parent of a student tells KRON4 News that a note was left on the wall of a bathroom that stated “Run there is a bomb”.

School officials have not confirmed the note.

The school was immediately evacuated. Police officers were called.

Students are currently on the school’s football field. There are no injuries from the incident.

KRON4 is making additional phone calls and investigating with the school district. We will be updating the story as soon as we have more information.
