Could we be seeing the last of “Jeopardy!” host Alex Trebek?
The longtime game show host hinted at that possibility over the weekend. During Harvey Levin’s latest episode of “OBJECTified” on FOX News, Trebek says there’s more than a 50/50 chance he will retire when his contract expires in 2020.
And he even has a replacement in mind.
Trebek told Levin he thinks Los Angeles Kings hockey announcer Alex Faust should take over hosting the show he’s emceed since 1984.
And Trebek even has another choice in mind. He told Levin CNN legal analyst Laura Coates would make a good host as well.
Trebek’s first United States game show gig came in 1973 when he hosted NBC’s “The Wizard of Odds.”
