An air quality advisory is in effect for the Bay Area through Monday evening, according to the Bay Area Air Quality District.
The region is experiencing smoke impacts from the Branscombe Fire in Suisun City (Solano County).
Strong winds are blowing smoke into the East and South Bay. Due to changing wind patterns, poor air quality throughout the Bay Area could linger until Monday evening.
If the smell of smoke is present, residents should avoid exposure.
