A vehicle collision with a SFMTA streetcar left a driver with serious injuries

(BCN) – A San Francisco Municipal Railway streetcar struck a Department of Parking and Traffic vehicle on Market Street this evening, a Muni spokesman

said.

The collision was reported at about 5:40 p.m. in the area of Market and 10th streets and involved a F-Market & Wharves line streetcar, Muni spokesman Paul Rose said.

The DPT employee was hospitalized with injuries to the face and knees, according to Rose. No one onboard the streetcar was injured, he said.

No other details about the collision were immediately available, Rose said.
