ALAMO, CALIF. (BCN) — A two-alarm fire did extensive damage this afternoon to the attic and roof of a home in the unincorporated Contra Costa County community of Alamo, a San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District battalion chief said.

The homeowner called dispatchers at 4:18 p.m. to report something was on fire in the backyard of the home at 2369 Hagen Oaks Drive, Battalion

Chief Jim Selover said.

The home also sustained water and smoke damage to its interior, according to Selover. No one was injured.
