SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) – An adult driver hit a motorized bicyclist on Blossom Ave. and Santa Teresa Blvd. in Santa Clara County on Oct. 7, 2021. Police arrived around 9:20 p.m. at the scene. Officials launched an investigation in response to the accident.
The driver remained on the scene and cooperated with officials. The victim was hospitalized with severe injuries, said officials. Police found no indications of drug or alcohol use from the driver.
The victim was recently admitted to the hospital. They went back due to complications from the accident.
The victim was pronounced dead on Jan. 17, 2022.
Their identity will be released by the Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office, police say.
