SUISUN CITY (KRON) — Nine people were arrested in Suisun City Saturday in a human trafficking operation, according to police.
Detectives posed online as would-be ‘johns’ to contact prostitutes appearing to be underage.
After negotiating prices, the suspected prostitutes went to an address the investigators gave them in the 1300 block of Lawler Ranch Parkway.
Once the suspected sex workers arrived, they were taken into custody and officers tried to determine whether they were victims of sex trafficking.
A victim advocate from SafeQuest Solano, formerly known as Solano Women’s Crisis Center, was at the residence to offer resources to those involved.
Seven women from Solano County, Napa and Las Vegas between the ages of 18 and 28 were arrested, along with two Solano County men aged 20 and 23.
