Fire crews battled a massive four-alarm blaze Saturday night in San Francisco’s North Beach neighborhood.
According to San Francisco Fire, around 7:24 p.m. the blaze erupted at a two-story commercial building on Union Street.
The building has five business on the bottom floor and residential units on the second floor.
Fire officials say no one was injured in the fire, but 8 people were displaced.
The fire started from inside the building and then spread to the exterior.
It reportedly took about 140 firefighters to put out the flames.
Crews were able to extinguish the fire by 1:11 a.m., but will remain on scene throughout the day to monitor for hot spots.
Officials originally reported 15 people were displaced.
Sunday morning, the Red Cross confirmed there were eight people displaced.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
