Millbrae (KRON) — A 70-year-old female died as a result of being struck by an operating vehicle in Millbrae Saturday night, according to Sheriff deputies.
Sheriff deputies responded to the area of Rollins and Adrian Roads in regards to a report of an auto versus pedestrian accident.
Upon arrival sheriff deputies discovered an off duty paramedic administering first aid to the elderly victim laying on the crosswalk in front of the center median on Rollins Road.
The victim was transported to San Francisco General Hospital, but late succumbed to her injuries.
No vehicles were found at the scene. Sheriff deputies said, so far five vehicles in the area are being indicated as possible witnesses.
Now the San Mateo County sheriff deputies are asking the public for help identifying vehicle’s and witnesses in the accident.
The investigation is still ongoing.
