LIVERMORE (KRON) — Several cars were involved in a major accident on Interstate 580 in Livermore, according to California Highway Patrol.
The accident happened around 6:11 a.m. on westbound I-580 at North Flynn Road, CHP officials said.
The seven-car pile up was blocking three lanes of westbound I-580. All lanes were reopened by 7:20 a.m.

Minor injuries and complaints of pain have been reported due to the crash.
Drivers were at a crawl out of Tracy through Livermore.
