MACQUARIE, ISLAND, Australia (KRON) — A 6.7 magnitude earthquake has shaken Macquarie Island in Australia on Friday (Australia Time), according to the USGS.
The quake struck at 2:46 p.m. Pacific Time.
The quake struck 22 kilometers (13.67 miles) west-southwest of Macquarie Island.
The quake had a depth of 10 kilometers (6.21 miles).
There were no reports of any damage.
