SAN JOSE (KRON) — A San Jose liquor store sold a winning lottery ticket worth $500,000, according to lottery officials.
The ticket bought at Union Avenue Liquors at 3649 Union Ave. was for Tuesday night’s Fantasy 5 game.
The ticket matched all five numbers of 11, 13, 38, 8, and 31.
No one has claimed the ticket as of Thursday morning.
The ticket is worth $499,040 before federal taxes are taken out, according to lottery officials.
Lottery officials encourage the winner to sign the back of the ticket and keep it in a safe place until claiming the prize at any of the nine Lottery District offices statewide.
Players have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize.
