SAN MATEO (KRON) — A four-alarm fire broke out at a townhome complex in San Mateo Thursday night, according to fire officials.

The fire was reported at 10:45 p.m. at a structure on Ticonderoga Road, fire officials said.

Fire crews were able to extinguish the fire.

Some roadways in the area were closed but have since been reopened.

Eight people have been displaced due to the fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation at this time.
