AMATRICE, Italy (KRON) — A 4.7 earthquake has hit near Amatrice, Italy on Friday morning, according to the USGS.
The quake struck at 9:28 p.m. Pacific time.
This is the second quake to hit Italy this week. Two days ago, a deadly 6.2 quake hit the same area.
The quake struck 5 kilometers northwest of Amatrice and had a depth of 10 kilometers.
