SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) — A 38-year-old woman in a wheelchair was struck and killed on San Francisco’s Market Street on Friday morning, according to police and the medical examiner’s office.
The woman, identified by the medical examiner’s office as Berkeley resident Thu Phan, was hit by a car at about 10 a.m. in the area of Market and Seventh streets, police said.
Phan was taken to a hospital and died Saturday, according to the medical examiner’s office.
No other information about the collision was immediately available from police.
