Police are investigating after a 37-year-old man was killed in a crash Thursday night.
According to the Martinez Police Department, police responded to the 800 block of Howe Road on a report of a vehicle collision.
At the scene officers located the 37-year-old victim trapped in a car that had collided with a parked commercial vehicle.
The victim was unresponsive and was extricated from the car. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
No other victims were located.
Police say the 37-year-old was the sole occupants of the car at the time of the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
