A manhunt is underway after three robbers broke into a Hercules home with a crowbar and threatened to kill the man inside.

The description of the suspects is limited. They were all wearing masks right around noon on Tuesday.

The victims say three black men, two thin and one heavy-set, broke into their home. They were all dressed in black colors, jeans, jackets, and gloves.

The home is on Fremont Court in the southeastern part of Hercules, not too far from Hercules High School.

They demanded jewelry and money. The family heard them bust through the front door.

A man, his wife, and their child were in a downstairs bedroom at the time. The man ran to the foyer.

One of the three robbers had a crowbar and threatened to kill the man.

After ransacking the house, they left with only one small box found in a bedroom.

The victims didn’t see their get-away car, but a neighbor saw a black car, maybe a Chrysler 300 parked outside with the engine running and with all the windows tinted around the time of the crime.
