Three people are being treated at a hospital following a shooting on I-80 in Berkeley Saturday morning.
Police say it happened on the highway near the Gilman Street exit.
They found out about the shooting because the three victims involved self-transported themselves to a nearby hospital with gunshot wounds.
Police went to the scene around 4:30 a.m. and shut down the highway from the University Avenue to the Gilman Street exits to investigate and gather evidence.
Just after that a four-car crash happened right after the University Avenue exit just about a half mile away from the shooting scene.
One person was taken to the hospital with injuries.
The crash shut down three lanes in the area until about 6:15 a.m.
Police say the two incidents are not related.
