SANTA ROSA (BCN) — Three residents were arrested Saturday morning in Santa Rosa on suspicion of auto burglary after being pulled over in a car containing stolen property, according to police.

The auto burglary was reported at about 8:20 a.m. in the 500 block of South E Street.

The victim heard her car window being broken and discovered that her purse had been stolen, police said.

A nearby witness notified dispatchers that two men had been seen fleeing on foot and getting into a vehicle. The witness was able to get the license plate number of the car, according to police.

Officers responded to an address in the area of Inglewood Drive, where the vehicle is registered. Shortly after arrival, they observed the suspect vehicle and pulled it over, police said.

Stolen property was found inside the vehicle. Justin Story, Rebecca Dickens and Dennis Dickens, all of Santa Rosa, were taken into custody after witnesses identified them as having been involved in the burglary, according to police.

All three were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy, possession of stolen property and violating the terms of their probation. Dennis Dickens and Justin Story were also arrested on suspicion of burglary, police said.
