SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A three-alarm fire burned in San Francisco’s Ingleside neighborhood, but was contained around 10:11 a.m., according to a fire department spokeswoman.
The blaze was reported at 8:56 a.m. at a building in the 1100block of Plymouth Avenue, San Francisco fire spokeswoman Mindy Talmadge said.
According to Talmadge the firefighters were searching for two people reported to possibly trapped in a lower rear unit of the building.
Once firefighters were able to gain entry to the rear unit, they encountered four to five pit bulls, Talmadge said.
The dogs did not injure anyone and firefighters were informed that everyone was accounted for and that nobody was still inside the building, according to Talmadge.
