A 3.6 earthquake has shaken near Vallejo on Monday afternoon, according to the United States Geological Survey.
The quake had a depth of 12.2 kilometers (7.6 miles) and was centered 9.3 miles west-southwest of Vallejo.
That’s about 8.1 miles northwest of Hercules and 16.2 miles north-northwest of Berkeley.
The quake struck at around 3:22 p.m. Monday.
There are reports that the earthquake was felt in San Francisco.
