PIEDMONT (KRON) — A magnitude-3.5 earthquake struck Piedmont early Tuesday morning rattling Oakland and parts of the East Bay, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The quake struck at 12:50 a.m. roughly two miles east-southeast of Piedmont.

The earthquake recorded depth of 2.98 miles, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

KRON4 received multiple calls from residents in Oakland saying they felt the quake.

No damage or injuries were reported following the earthquake.
