CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) — A second man is accused of sexually assaulting a 17-year old girl at a fraternity party at the College of Charleston.

James Fashawn West, III, 22 is charged with engaging a child for sexual performance. He is currently being held at the Sheriff Al Cannon Detention Center on a $15,000 bond.

Last week, College of Charleston student Timothy Seppi, 21, was arrested on several exploitation charges. Police say they found an image of a minor performing a sexual act on the 21-year-old’s phone. Investigators say he took photos of a 17-year-old girl performing a sex act on another man during a party on Ashley Avenue. He was released on bond.

The College of Charleston President, Glenn McConnell, announced the suspension of the Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity following the allegations. “The international office, in consultation with College of Charleston officials, determined that the chapter was not living up to the purpose and values espoused by the organization,” McConnell said in a statement.
