Thousands of residents in the Richmond area were without power Thursday night without power, according to Pacific Gas and Electric.
Initially, 2,800 customers were impacted by the outage, but around 9:30 p.m. that number dropped to 1,780.
Crews are still working to fully restore power.
The cause is unknown.
