ANTIOCH (KRON) — A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a Sunday afternoon shooting in Antioch that left one person wounded, police said.
At around 1:42 p.m., Antioch Police Officers responded to reports of gun shots heard in the 1700 block of Magnolia Way, a few blocks from the Contra Loma Estates Park.
“Upon arrival, Officers learned a male victim was shot and had been transported to an area hospital by family members,” police said in a release. “The victim was located at an area hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.”
Officers were able to track down the suspected gunman to a nearby apartment on Spanos Street.
The suspect, David Hall, 21, was arrested without incident and a firearm suspected to be used in the shooting was recovered.
Hall was booked in Martinez Detention Facility on a charge of attempted homicide along with related weapons charges.
