KING CITY (KRON) — A 20-year-old man was shot and killed in King City on Tuesday night was identified as Martin Heredia of King City.
At 10:26 p.m., officers responded to reports of shots fired near 1375 Cambridge Avenue, a row of houses near San Lorenzo Park. Witnesses reported hearing between five and seven shots.
When officers arrived to the scene, Hereida, had already been taken to Mee Memorial Hospital. He had been shot twice in the chest and died from his injuries, according to police.
Investigators released no information about possible suspects or a motive in the shooting.
