Police are investigating a pepper spray attack at a Walgreens in Vallejo.
The incident happened around 4:30 p.m. at a location on Springs Rd.
Authorities say a car drove up to the store and at least one person walked in and pepper sprayed a woman who works there.
A second employee was hit with the spray while trying to help her.
Both employees were transported to a local hospital for further evaluation.
KRON4’s Hermela Aregawi reports that in total 20 people, including customers, were sickened.
Witnesses described a couple that was acting suspiciously right before the chaos.
