AMERICAN CANYON (KRON) — Two small earthquakes shook the North Bay on Monday afternoon, according to the United States Geological Survey.
The first earthquake, a magnitude 3.3, struck at 4:32 p.m. in Sonoma County at about 4 kilometers (2.5 miles) northeast of Kenwood, California. The second earthquake, a 3.0, shook American Canyon in Napa County at about 5:35 p.m.
The 3.0 quake was centered 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) southwest of American Canyon.
The 3.0 quake had a depth of 12.6 kilometers (7.8 miles) and the 3.3 had a depth of 10.2 kilometers (6.3 miles).
