SANTA CRUZ COUNTY (BCN) — Investigators are looking for two people wanted in connection with a home burglary in the Pasatiempo community earlier this month, according to the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office.
James “Jimi” Mitchell and Ashley Sowers are suspects in an Aug. 6 home burglary at a home in Pasatiempo, an unincorporated community north of Santa Cruz, sheriff’s officials said.
The pair was seen outside the front door on video footage captured through the home’s security system, according to the sheriff’s office.
Investigators later identified the suspects as Mitchell and Sowers, who may live in the Redding area of Shasta County and are known to frequent Santa Cruz County, sheriff’s officials said.
The alleged burglars were last seen traveling in a red 2013 Chevrolet Impala with license plate number 7TJB274 that is registered under Sowers’ name, according to the sheriff’s office.
