Police have arrested two people in connection with a homicide that happened at a home in El Sobrante Wednesday night.
Around 10:46 p.m. Contra Costa County Sheriff’s deputies responded to 4811 San Pablo Dam Rd. to reports of a shooting.
When deputies arrived, the found the 22-year-old victim laying in the driveway.
“Deputies started CPR on the victim and requested the fire department and an ambulance to respond to the scene,” the Sheriff’s Office said.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after. His identify is not being released at this time, deputies said.
The two suspects have been identified as 22-year-old Anthony Gaines of Richmond and 57- year old Judy Barkas of El Sobrante.
Both have been booked into the Martinez Detention Facility on murder and conspiracy charges. They are each being held in lieu of $2 million bail.
