Police have identified the victim who was shot and killed over the weekend in Albany. 

According to authorities, 23-year-old Raphael Fuentes-Lee of Vallejo was found on a bench along the Ohlone Greenway on Masonic Avenue with a single gunshot to the head on Sunday around 11:30 a.m.

He was transported to the hospital for treatment where he later died from his injuries. 

Later that day, Albany police obtained an arrest warrant for 21-year-old Kayla Gibson-Wytch of Berkeley for murder. 

Gibson-Wytch was arrested Monday morning. 

Additionally, 31-year-old Thomas Shimamura of Oakland was arrested for murder after an Albany police officers potted him walking in Berkeley. 

Both Shimamura and Gibson-Wytch have been booked into the Alameda County Jail for the murder of Fuentes-Lee. 

Albany police are continuing to look for witnesses who may have been in the Ohlone Greenway area shortly before 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 29.
