BERKELEY (KRON) — A 2.59 magnitude earthquake hit Berkeley Thursday morning.

The earthquake was centered just west of the University of California at Berkeley Clark Kerr Campus and was reported with a depth of 3.7 miles by the U.S. Geological Survey.

The quake happened at about 7:42 a.m.
