MOUNTAIN VIEW (KRON) — An 18-year-old Mountain View man was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of possession and distribution of child pornography, police said.
Josh Chispa was arrested after a search warrant was served at his home in the 500 block of West Middlefield Road.
The police department’s Cyber Crime Unit got a tip related to a child pornography investigation.
Detectives found several devices with hundreds of files depicting lewd and lascivious acts with children under 12.
Chispa has been booked into Santa Clara County Jail.
“This arrest came from many hours of diligent work by detectives following up on a tip. These types of crimes are always extremely concerning, and anyone who has any additional information should contact us,” acting Lt. Tim Dahl said in a statement.
