PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Seventeen people were arrested during the protests through the streets of Portland Friday night, bringing the 2-day total to 43.
Of the 17 arrested, 9 were booked into the Multnomah County Jail, the Portland police said. Another 6 received criminal citations and 2 minors were released to their parents.
The adults arrested ranged in age from 18 to 40. Most of those charged face 2nd-degree disorderly conduct or interfering with a police officer charges. One faces a 4th-degree assault.
However, one of the juveniles, a 17-year-old, faces charges of attempted assault of a public safety officer, carrying a concealed weapon, 2nd-degree disorderly conduct, interfering with a peace officer, and offensive littering.
Those adults arrested are: Autumn Briggs, Tyler Kristoffer McManus, Steven James Bauer, Sarah Ruth Rascoe, Marcos Jesus Avalos, Willem VanRees, Ilias Ariston, Stephen Henderson, River Reichhoff, Hyatt McKinley Eshelman, Ashley Brooke Clifford, Thij Bowen, Shelby Brownan Haynes, Jose Antonio Quezada and Dallas Christian Bowman.
On Thursday, these 26 people were arrested:
37-year-old David Pugh – Interfering with a Peace Officer
23-year-old Margaret Alice Shiple – Interfering with a Peace Officer and Disorderly Conduct in the Second Degree
20-year-old Ryley Sue Simmons – Interfering with a Peace Officer and Disorderly Conduct in the Second Degree
19-year-old Siaosi Vana Tuitayuki – Disorderly Conduct in the Second Degree
15-year-old girl- Interfering with a Peace Officer and Disorderly Conduct in the Second Degree (Released to parent)
19-year-old Eric Peregrina – Disorderly Conduct in the Second Degree
19-year-old Mikaylah Marie Walper – Interfering with a Peace Officer and Disorderly Conduct in the Second Degree
18-year-old Vincenzo Damon Milione – Interfering with a Peace Officer and Disorderly Conduct in the Second Degree
18-year-old Jeffrey Duane Kamper – Interfering with a Peace Officer
21-year-old Daniel Gomez – Interfering with a Peace Officer
23-year-old Jacob Hence – Disorderly Conduct in the Second Degree and Riot
A 16-year-old male was detained and released.
