HILLSBORO, Ore. (KOIN) – A Washington County grand jury issued a true bill charging a 15-year-old boy with attempted murder.

Alan Gibson is charged as an adult under Oregon Ballot Measure 11.

He is charged with one count of attempted murder, first-degree assault, second-degree assault and two counts of unlawful use of a weapon.

According to police, the stabbing happened on March 31 in the 1800 block of Southeast 54th.

Officials say both victims were stabbed multiple times, and that all three people knew each other.

Both victims were taken to local hospitals and are expected to survive. A motive to the stabbing has not been released.

Gibson will be arraigned in Washington County Circuit Court on Monday.
