SANTA CLARA (KRON)—Over 1,400 residents in Santa Clara now have power after losing it on Tuesday afternoon, spokesman said.

The power outage happened around 11:45 a.m. in a neighborhood near the intersection of Tasman Drive and Lafayette Street, said Larry Owens, spokesman for Silicon Valley Power.

A crew is investigating what caused the outage.

Power was restored around 1 p.m., according to PG&E.

The cause of the outage is under investigation.
