LIVERMORE (BCN) — One person was displaced after a fire burned a mobile home in Livermore Sunday afternoon, according to fire officials.

Fire crews from the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department, along with the Alameda County Fire Department, responded to a report of a structure fire in the 1800 block of Montecito Circle at 4 p.m.

No one was inside the home at the time and fire officials said firefighters brought the blaze under control by 5 p.m. Fire officials said mobile homes on either side of the burning home sustained minor damage to their exteriors.

The home where the fire started was a total loss, however, fire officials said, and estimated the damage to be approximately $135,000. No injuries were reported.

Fire officials said the fire started in the kitchen and the exact cause is under investigation.
