SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY (KRON) — A 1-year-old girl who was abducted by her father in San Bernardino County on Monday night has been found Tuesday morning, according to authorities in San Bernardino.

Earlier this morning, the AMBER Alert issued on Lexi Segura’s behalf was lifted, but the baby and her abductor were s

till missing.

The alert that was in effect for Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties was lifted because the suspect car was found abandoned.

Then, around 9:20 a.m., Specialized Enforcement Detectives were searching the area of Holt Bl./Monte Vista Ave. in the City of Montclair when they spotted a gray Chevy Malibu with a driver matching the description of Daniel Segura, the child’s abductor.

Police conducted a traffic stop, and Segura was taken into custody without incident. Police say Segura had a gun on him at the time of the arrest.

“Lexi Segura was found in the vehicle and is in good physical condition,” police said. “She is being reunited with her mother at this time.”

Daniel Segura will be booked at West Valley Detention Center for child abduction, according to police.
