Taylor Bisacky is a Multimedia Journalist for KRON4 News.
Previously Taylor enjoyed the sunny beaches of Florida where she worked in Fort Myers as a reporter and fill-in anchor for WINK-TV.
Throughout her three years there, she covered Hurricane Irma, the water quality crisis, local high-profile gang trials, and much more. She also uncovered dangerous and poor living conditions in government-funded apartments, which prompted the city’s mayor to fly to Washington, D.C. to push for changes.
Before Florida, Taylor covered national and international stories through her education at Penn State University. She was an international correspondent for WPSU’s Centre County Report in Greece where she covered the refugee crisis in Athens and Lesbos, Greece. She worked for the Catholic News Service, covering the 2015 Papal Visit to Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. Taylor is also a former host of 46Live, a 46-hour live webcast watched in more than 100 countries that documents the largest student-run philanthropy in the world, the Penn State Dance Marathon (THON). Through her work on WPSU’s Centre County Report, Taylor won a national College Emmy. She later graduated from Penn State with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Business Marketing.
Taylor is a Philadelphia area native and Philly sports fan (Go Birds!). She grew up watching 6abc (WPVI-TV) and later interned there. She also spent a short time living in D.C. where she interned at NBC4 (WRC-TV).
Taylor is a huge foodie and fitness enthusiast so naturally the San Francisco Bay Area felt like a perfect fit for her new home! You can probably find her exploring new menus across the city or discovering new running trails. She loves meeting new people so if you see her, say hello!
