Rob Nesbitt joined KRON 4 as a Multimedia Journalist in November 2021.
Prior to KRON, Rob worked as a multimedia journalist at NEWS CENTER Maine and 12 News in Providence, Rhode Island. He’s covered everything from the COVID-19 pandemic to the aftermath of Hurricane Irma in Florida. Rob’s stories have earned him two New England Emmy Awards, two Edward R. Murrow Awards and multiple awards from the Maine Association of Broadcasters.
He grew up in northern Maine and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from the New England School of Communications.
While attending NESCom, Rob had the opportunity to intern with the CBS Evening News in New York City. He worked side by side with network producers, correspondents, and anchors where his passion for storytelling was formed.
Rob enjoys spending time outdoors, downhill skiing, horseback riding and playing volleyball.
