Kate is a sports anchor and reporter for KRON4. As a San Francisco native (and Lowell High School grad; go Cardinals!), she’s thrilled to tell the best sports stories the Bay Area has to offer for a station she grew up watching.
After years of living in New York City and a stint in L.A., Kate returned to her hometown and has since roamed the sidelines or spent time in studio for a variety of outlets, including Pac-12 Network, Comcast Hometown Network, and Spectrum Sports Network.
Kate holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Boston Conservatory of Music, and a MA in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Southern California. She’s still trying to figure out how to incorporate singing and dancing into her sports storytelling–taking suggestions!
When she’s not on the beat, you can find Kate spending time with family and friends and enjoying life in the City by the Bay.
