Jonathan McCall is an anchor and multi-media journalist for KRON4 News.
He arrived in the Bay Area in May 2020, right in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic.
You can find him sharing the desk on the weekends with Justine Waldman, and hitting the streets to tell your stories during the week.
Before arriving in the Bay Area, Jonathan found himself in the middle of a number of national and international stories for stations in Kansas City, Baltimore, Tulsa, Las Vegas.
Jonathan is also a decorated veteran. He served as a naval forecaster in the United States Navy, helping to plan and support missions during Operation Enduring Freedom in 2003.
Since the age of 4, Jonathan knew he wanted to be a journalist.
His work has been honored with several awards from the Associated Press, and the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for Best Newscast, Best News Anchor, and Best Breaking News report.
When not in the newsroom, you can find him out and about volunteering in the community, learning all the best places to hangout in the Bay Area, riding his bike, and hanging out with his son Nathaniel.
